One of Yamaha's most famous machines has been restored, the YD 250 racer that Fumio Ito brought his 6rh place at the "Catalina GP" in 1958 in the USA.

This "Catalina" machine was actually a Motocross version of the YDB Asama Racer of 1957. Compare the similarities.
The Catlina machines were serviced from this rather simple "workshop". Compare that with todays luxury!
